This Privacy Policy governs the collection of information by Beyond the Hairline LLC and Chat Chew and Do Empowerment Women Group (CCDEW), a Mississippi nonprofit, for the Track It service at track-it-sis.vercel.app. Beyond the Hairline LLC is its own legal entity, separate from CCDEW, under which the service was originally offered. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean both entities, together with their respective officers, directors, employees, and volunteers. By using the service, you agree to this policy.
We collect your first name and email address when you request the tracking app. Both are required to receive it and are retained as the record that the app was received. They are sent securely to a trusted third-party provider that receives the request on our behalf. That provider operates under its own privacy policy, and neither CCDEW nor Beyond the Hairline LLC is responsible for its practices. If you tick the optional contact box, we also record that choice. We do not collect your last name, address, phone number, or payment information.
Your journal entries are saved right here in your browser on this device, so they are ready whenever you come back, and they stay private to whoever uses this device or browser. They are not transmitted to or stored by CCDEW, Beyond the Hairline LLC, or any provider. Signing out deletes them from the device. You are responsible for printing, exporting, and backing up your journal data.
We use your name and email to confirm that the tracking app was received and to respond to your inquiries. Only if you selected the optional contact box do we also use them to send updates about Track It, Beyond the Hairline, scalp health resources, baseline studies, or notifications. You can withdraw that choice at any time.
We do not sell, rent, trade, or lease your information. We do not share with advertisers or data brokers.
We may disclose your information only with your consent, to service providers under confidentiality (including the third-party provider that receives your name and email when you request the app), to comply with legal process, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger or reorganization of CCDEW or Beyond the Hairline LLC.
CCDEW and Beyond the Hairline LLC may develop future partnerships with medical and research institutions. We will obtain your separate written consent before sharing any of your information with a research partner. Registration does not enroll you in any study.
We implement reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100 percent secure. You provide your information at your own risk.
In the event of a data breach compromising your personal information, CCDEW and Beyond the Hairline LLC will notify affected individuals as required by applicable law.
You have the right to access and correct your information, to withdraw consent to future contact, and to file a complaint with a data protection authority. Journal entries and any other personal data you enter can be deleted on request; because journal entries live only on your device, you can also delete them yourself at any time by signing out or clearing your browser storage. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), you have the right to know what information we collect, to request deletion of the personal data you enter, and to opt out of sale. Neither CCDEW nor Beyond the Hairline LLC sells personal information. The name and email address recording receipt of the app are retained as described under Your Rights.
If you are in the European Economic Area, you have rights under GDPR including access, correction, deletion of the personal data you enter, and withdrawal of consent. The name and email address recording receipt of the app are retained on the basis of the legitimate interest of CCDEW and Beyond the Hairline LLC in keeping that record. Beyond the Hairline LLC and CCDEW are joint data controllers.
The Service is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18. If we learn we have, we will delete it.
Your journal entries are saved right here in your browser on this device, so they are ready whenever you come back, and they stay private to whoever uses this device or browser. We use that same browser storage to recognize you on return visits. We do not use third-party advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or cross-site behavioral tracking.
All commercial emails comply with the CAN-SPAM Act. You can unsubscribe at any time by following unsubscribe instructions in any email or replying with the word unsubscribe.
If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer.
We may modify this policy at any time. Changes are effective upon posting with an updated date. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised policy.
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Mississippi, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
